Like Corel and Serif, Ashampoo offers a surprisingly broad spectrum of applications ranging from photo editing to office suites. Like Corel, Ashampoo also offers a video editing program, Movie Studio Pro, now in version 3. The software boasts 4K compatibility, standard cutting, transitions, effects, music tools, Dolby 5.1 surround sound, slo-mo, graphics acceleration, and support for hundreds of file formats. One distinguishing feature is its ability to identify and remove ads from your video content. That said, Ashampoo Movie Studio Pro 3 lacks most of the advanced tools found in Editors' Choice CyberLink PowerDirector, such as motion tracking, advanced PiP tools, support for new formats like HEVC and 360-degree footage, and multicam editing

If you just want an inexpensive way to join and trim video clips, add text, transitions, and a few effects to your videos, Ashampoo may do the trick. Unfortunately, it's very slow and lacks some in-demand tools and adjustments

Sharing and Output Options.

When you're happy with your editing, you tap the Select Format button at lower right. The program then offers you a selection of output options. These include popular smartphones, discs, and online video sharing sites. You can also simply export to AVI, MKV, MP4, MPG, and WMV. File output options are limited; for example, you can't specify a target bitrate. For MP4, you just get a broad choice of 4K (2160p), HD 1080p, HD720p, DVD Quality, TV Quality, and Mobile Phone Quality.

Help is web-based, and incomplete. I couldn't find the list of supported file types that the help page claimed to link to.
